Your 90-minute consultation
A specialist clinician will meet with you by video to discuss your experiences, developmental history, strengths and challenges, and how symptoms affect different parts of your life. In most cases your clinician will inform you during your assessment whether you meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis.
Outcome and report
When a decision has been reached the clinician will write their findings in a report which will be sent to you and your GP.
Your experience matters
A full picture, not just a checklist
ADHD cannot be diagnosed from a questionnaire or score alone. Your clinician considers your symptoms over time, when they began, the settings where they occur, their impact, and any other factors that may be relevant.
If ADHD is not diagnosed, your assessment can still help clarify what support or next steps may be useful.
